EOC Week 5: How will you organize your job search time and follow up to get results?
In order to begin a job search, you would first have to have idea where you would like to go. Finding your ideal job is not easy, but you would not just want to work somewhere that would completely waste your time and having no interests in it. Look for your interest, what type of work environment fits you, and even the type of people you like working with. There are even self assessment tests online to help you find out your strengths and weaknesses. This would give you an idea moving forward and minimize job searches. Keeping yourself organized is very crucial when applying for jobs, especially in keeping track of all the resumes you have sent out. Follow up on every application you have sent out to employers. I would patiently wait about a few days to follow up on an application. During that wait, I would make sure that my demo reel and resume is still up to date and even continuing to update for future applications. You only have a few seconds to catch the attention of employers to your website, so having it appealing really plays an important factor.
